The history of Everdea

Everdea was founded in 1993 by the company's present CEO George Kors with family. Already in the early years, a stable base for import and distribution was laid, which later became evolving over time. By the end of the 2000s, Everdea had the privilege of acquiring major international brands like Studio Makeup, Lollipops and NYX Cosmetics. The successes laid the foundation for expansion and the business eventually came to include a NYX Cosmetics branded e-commerce, physical stores and listings among the Nordic region's top retailers in the beauty segment. In 2015, the brand was bought by a global beauty supplier and was there after operated by the organization itself.

Nordic distribution

Today, Everdeas brand portfolio is listed among the largest fashion and beauty retailers in the Nordic region. Through a rich international network and good industry relations, Everdea has managed to create favorable conditions for Scandinavian growth. Today, the company is doing business with strong beauty chains such as KICKS, Matas and Lyko. Everdea is running business in Eastern Europe as well and has an office in Poland. 

Local logistic solution

Everdea has an outsourced local logistic solution to improve and streamline product flow between supplier and retailer. The company maintains an accurate import policy with no re- packing or temporary storage in other countries. Everdea can, thanks to clear agreements and strict approach to transport, guarantee the authenticity and high quality of the products.

Digital B2B platform

Everdea can offer a modern B2B platform where beauty buyers representing a business in the FMCG industry, can place their orders whenever they wish. The portal provides stock indication, a list of news, which parts of the assortment are vegan and daily deals. Everdea also complements its digital solution, with personal contact and follow-up. In December 2016, Everdea launched the webshop Colorsvibe. The idea was to create a colorful and vibrant shopping destination for the brands included in the portfolio for distribution. Colorsvibe provides access to Everdea's full range and it’s possible to find products and colors that are not available from other dealers. Today, customers from all over the Nordic countries have access to Colorsvibe, which has also been certified by Trygg E- handel and supported by a modern payment solution hosted by Klarna Checkout.

Engaged blogosphere

After running business on the beauty market for almost thirty years, Everdea has a solid network of influencers, journalists and media. Over the last decades thousands of posts have been published in magazines, blogs and on social media. The company's brand portfolio has been seen in international fashion and beauty magazines, but also in local forums owned by famous bloggers like Linda Hallberg, Lina Ekh and Therese Lindgren. Everdea's brand portfolio has also been shown in the rest of the Nordic countries and has for example been mentioned in the Norwegian Kosmetikk Magazine and on the large Finnish blog Sofias Mode.

Since 2013, Everdea is a member of the industry organization Swedish cosmetics and hygiene companies/svenska kosmetik- och hygienföretagen.

Everdea has the AAA credit rating, granted only to companies that sell more than two million a year, have been operating for at least 10 years and have key ratios that are significantly above the industry average.

By offering all the brands complete assortment to the end consumer, we have gained important information about tendencies and shopping behavior. Our webshop, Colorsvibe, is for that matter a dynamic complement to our B2B- section.
As a selected partner for distribution it’s our priority to strengthen the brands and create healthy conditions for growth. We are for that purpose active on social media and runs several accounts on Instagram and Facebook. With a Head of Production inhouse coordinating support functions in the team, we can deliver unique pictures, updated texts and other kind of relevant content on demand. Since many years, Everdea has a strong network of beauty influencers, editors and media, helping us to reach new customers all over Scandinavia.
